Support Simon’s Ride Across Britain!

Our Production Manager Simon is kitting up and putting his cycling shorts on over 9 days in September this year to take part in the Deloitte Ride Across Britain. Across 9 epic days, the ride covers 970 miles, averaging over 100 miles a day & climbing more than 50,000ft. Starting in Land’s End and finishing in John O’Groats, the ride takes in spectacular scenery and passes through iconic sites across the nation including  St Michaels Mount, Cheddar Gorge, The Severn Bridge, The Cairngorms National Park and breath-taking views of the Lake District.

Simon got back on the bike 8 years ago, initially cycling 5 miles & upon realising that he enjoyed the challenge and pushing himself to become fitter and complete longer distances, fast forward 8 years later, and this will be his biggest ride yet!

Through completing this impressive accomplishment, Simon is hoping to raise vital funds for Cancer Research UK-  the charities work is almost entirely funded by the public and helps to fund pioneering work into the prevention, diagnosis and treatments of cancers. Over the past 40 years, Cancer Research’s work has helped to double the survival rate and as a result, has helped save millions of lives.
